Engine is in the JPS! And Turbo!
I like playing with the buttons on the console.

Wow, that’s a huuuge exhaust housing for such a tiny compressor. Pretty interesting setup though.
Going blow-through carb or a throttle body injection setup?
This in a Carpi? Nutty V6 or small cube V8?

Awesome. Is the turbo going straight to a top hat (maybe with methanol?) or some such intercooling first?

The turbo is old technology. It may be unbalanced compared to a modern turbo, but it’s still very efficient. Big turbine spinning a little turbine. It spools up so fast it almost has no lag.
It’ll be huffing though an Audi intercooler into a Weber 2 barrel carb.
And yep, a 1975 Capri. Its actually a 2.8 litre V6. At 13 pounds of boost, it makes 300 HP at the pavement. In a car that weighs 2200 pounds.

Yep there’s an air to air intercooler from an old Audi up front. Then it shoots into a plenum on top of a 2 barrel Weber.

Nice, fellow Sixxer owner here but with a Series II Buick in a Firebird. Should be pushing around 250whp+ NA after the new build is done but with a crapload of torque.
300hp in a 2200lb car has got to be a riot.

Its been over seven years since the car moved, so I really don’t remember. I do remember the numbers though. 175 mph is fast no matter what car you are in.

Yah, mine has been down since August and it feels like ages. Dropped a valve at idle (cam lift was too much for stock valves) and took out a piston but didn’t damage the block.
